Georg's ✨MAGIC Brush Set: 55+ Charmed New Procreate Brushes
This Special Edition brush set contains more than 55 professional multi-purpose brushes for sketching, drawing, and painting in Procreate 5.
The MAGIC Brush Set is dedicated to the amazing Nicholas Kole, who kindly asked me to recreate his favorite "Magic Sword" PhotoShop brush in Procreate. Inspired by Nicholas' outstanding work as illustrator, comic artist, and character designer, I forged the MAGIC SWORD brush as well as 45 magical drawing weapons and charmed painting armor to equip you for awesome artistic adventures in 2020!
The MAGIC Brush Set is a unique resource for professionals as well as aspiring artists and hobbyists. It contains all superior quality brush types you need to start sketching, drawing and painting right away in various media, techniques, and styles.
Some brushes from this set - like the MAGIC LONGSWORD, Nicholas' reforged weapon of choice - need a little practice to master. But as you can see in the gallery, the results can be truly magical!
📜 MAGIC Brush Library
- MAGIC SWORD: A multi-purpose sketch, ink, and marker/watercolor brush with a hard/soft edge dual brush tip and a seamless paper texture. Use pen tilt to create nice smooth gradients with your brush strokes.
- MAGIC LONGSWORD: This new version of the MAGIC SWORD has a narrower brush tip and slightly adjusted dynamics.
- MAGIC SHIELD: A dynamic shading brush with a subtle paper texture. Enjoy smooth blending power and an amazing variety of different brush strokes! Check out the amazing skull study Tom Parrish created with this brush. Play around with hard/soft edges and opacity, use the Magic Shield also for smudging and erasing to achieve a consistent look and feel.

MAGIC BOOTS: A super versatile paintbrush with hard/soft dual edges and a gritty seamless texture. The orientation of the edges follows the flow and direction your brush strokes. The MAGIC BOOTS brush works great as smudge tool and eraser too! Use a low pen tilt angle to paint with smooth gradients. Tom Parrish tested the MAGIC BOOTS for this great portrait study:

- MAGIC DAGGER: A classic graphite pencil charmed with the magic of a hard and a soft brush tip side. Use pen pressure, speed, and tilt to control a wide variety of hard/soft edged strokes and enjoy the power of tonal shading. Check out Tom Parrish's great pencil study with the MAGIC DAGGER.
- MAGIC SPEAR: A versatile all-rounder brush for sketching, inking, and painting with nice dynamics and a very natural flow. Use tilt for blocking forms, painting, and shading.
- MAGIC LANCE: This ink brush with varying line width is based on my popular Kolinsky ink and paintbrush series. I added some extras like dynamic opacity and brush hair patterns that become gradually visible when you apply strong pressure and/or use a low pen tilt angle. Since some of you asked for it, I also included a "black" version of the LANCE without texture.

❓FAQ & MAGIC Tips
- Check the FAQ and follow step-by-step tutorials for downloading and installing your new brushes into Procreate.
- Download my Free Procreate BrushBook with 140+ pages of cheat sheets, brush demos, sample artwork, tips & tricks (not only) for my MegaPack brushes.
- All brushes can also be used as an eraser as well as smudge tool to achieve a consistent look & feel.
- Remove grain or reduce jitter if you prefer a cleaner line art.
- Adjust the StreamLine setting (stroke correction feature) to fit your drawing technique and style.
- Play with opacity, try out pen pressure, tilt and speed sensitivity to use my brushes to their full potential.
- Most of the brushes can be used in normal and wet mix rendering modes as well as in dry/glaze mode. You can switch between the rendering modes using three buttons in the "Dynamics" tab of your Procreate 4 brush menu. Please check my BrushBook for details (PDF included).
- For those of you who prefer changing their weapons (brushes) through the Magic of QuickMenu (without opening the brush menu), I'll add the respective normal/dry/wet versions as FREE updates to this set!
